Tree of Life

Four years ago my youngest drew me this picture and put it in this beautiful frame. When I got home from work she explained that I am the tree. She is my crazy part, My husband is my strength, my son is my anger, and my other daughter is my happiness. Together we are one.

Matthew 21:16 NIV

Do you hear what these children are saying?” they asked him.

“Yes,” replied Jesus, “have you never read,

“‘From the lips of children and infants you, Lord, have called forth your praise’

Have belief through the eyes of a child. We were never meant to navigate this world alone. Your loved ones, your family, friends and church family are all pieces to your unique puzzle. Some give you strength, some comfort, joy, caring but all give love. Yesterday my pastor said it is a family only God can knit together.

All the people in our lives give us what we need to navigate this big, scary world. You may think you are all alone but trust in God. Ask him who you can turn to. He will show you.

We are all a part of the body of Christ. We have been put here for a purpose. Sometimes our purpose isn't clear. Sometimes we are in a situation to learn or teach. Sometimes to pave new roads or repair broken ones. Maybe to heal ourselves or others. Most of the time we are not aware of our purpose until we are looking back on a situation.

When we have the faith of a mustard seed as though we are looking through the eyes of a child we can do really big things.
